Subject: Uniwerks upper bunk pod
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi folks,

While doing some winter projects I ran a power wire from my Auxiliary fuse box to the upper door vents.

I hope I didn’t already post this info!

Anyway, I had been gifted a Uniwerks USB power pod with built in level. I wanted to put it in the vent closer to the rear of van. It turned out not to fit there because the USB was too long. However, it was adjustable with a spacer and I had a perfect spacer that looked nice, still, not quite enough space. We bent the connectors in the back 90 degrees then it fit. It would have fit easily in the front vent.

I now also have purchased a second power pod for the upper bunk and this one has a light with switch and a USB. It fits perfectly in the first vent spot.

It is possible the web site indicates where things fit but I missed that.

Also, the upper bunk pods come in all varieties so it is a great addition to the van.

Sharing in case folks are looking at the options. Be prepared for a tight fit for the rear vent if including a USB. The version with LED and levels would fit fine.
