I got my excellent lug wrench from a FLAPS years ago. I think I paid something like $6. I do use a cheater bar for the lugs, and like Rich, I do the best I can, and then properly torque later. I could carry a torque wrench with me, but mine is not that heavy duty a wrench. The stock torque of 133 ft-lbs is pretty stiff, more than on most vehicles.
