Subject: Sound deadening material
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi folks,

I’m in the market for Sound deadening material with some water resistance. I’ve used Fat Mat with good success in the past. Price seems higher then I remember. Anyone have a suggestion for a good source or a good product that is foil covered and similar? I do not want the metal solution. This is a need for a Fat Matt type application.

I’ll be using much of it on the roof top and inside my luggage compartment for sound deadening but also eventually for behind the fridge and cabinets on the one side of the van I have not covered yet.

Much of my van is sound proofed with Fat Matt and the results were very positive.

I think I need 5 millimeter but 8 would be fine as well.

The water proof part is important. Anyone have experience with the Kill Matt product?

Thanks.
