This guy went one better. He already had his spare on the back, so converted the old 14” tire into the “carrier” by removing it from the rim and cutting out the sidewalls!

HE keeps things dry by using waterproof storage containers inside the tire ring, rather than attempting to construct a waterproof box.

I have to admit it is pretty clever thinking.
