Eric, I find that charcoal lighter fluid is a useful solvent for that sort of gunk. It's basically a crude form of naptha. If your overspray is thick, you might use a plastic scraper first, and maybe one of those sponges wrapped with nylon mesh. Isopropyl alcohol helps to get off the remaining film. Larry A.
