I notice a technical issue in the Vanagon list archives. I'm a programmer, so if I can help fix this, please call on me.

I wanted to save a link to this posting by Dennis Haynes, very useful as usual!

In the archives, I see it was archived in its base64 encoded form, easy to decode, but not readable by ordinary Vanagon dwellers or search engine robots:

http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind2104c&L=vanagon&F=&S=&P=4516

I note these headers in Dennis's email as I received it via the list:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 MIME-Version: 1.0

I value the Vanagon List archives, and I like working on archives, so, again, please tell me if I can help with this!
