It’s an interesting idea, but… Check valve would restrict flow to the faucet a little. Have you had a look at the pump? Cleaned any debris from the input? Got good electrical connections to the pump? Dennis was in there wasn’t he? I’f so then those connections should be good. You could take the knob off faucet and clean up the electrical contact there. The pump should jump to the task if everything is good. Slow pump is either or both bad electrical supply or pump getting tired. Oh, I said that before didnt I. You replaced pump a few years ago. You know , it might be worth looking at the faucet knob switch.
