I’m a Samba regular, both to contribute and to learn. I’ve made many posts with photos documenting work I’ve done and discoveries I’ve made; power steering rack rebuild, interior soundproofing, Eurovan seat swap, vans for sale and spotted on the road, trip reports, etc. A/C plenum removal to improve airflow to the front, now known as the plenumectomy, was perhaps my biggest contribution.

It’s a resource and man cannot live by text alone. There’s definitely some snark in the air over there and eager volunteers have taken up the slack once TK was banned, as I believe he was also from this list.

Furthermore, pictures are allowed and encouraged....this is a huge advantage. Sometimes worth a thousand words as the saying goes. And I've even bought and sold stuff via TheSamba. Excellent resource IMHO. > > On Thursday, April 22, 2021, 9:48:10 AM PDT, Mark Belanger <mbelanger@gmail.com> wrote: > > I too like TheSamba and will use it when I'm searching for a specific > answer.
