Hear is an earlier message with the info, I thought it was in my email body. FWIW, I have done a bunch of these for folks, even a bulk for one person. Basically VW just extended the internal latch with a bent piece of 1/4" rod that pokes through an existing hole. I weld them up for 15 bux and return shipping. https://www.uniwerksdesign.com <https://www.uniwerksdesign.com/> makes a printed copy of the original tapered trim cover. Looks and works just like factory.
