Sounds like you have a pretty nice knob
:-)
I replaced same knob with a t handle type thing. Yeah it’s ok for leverage. But it still thing the basic premise of the system is iffy. Even if you have the little metal flap thing inside the table leg upper support that helps spread out the applied force from screw knob.
Ryan ( is that right) pin method is sound. Bombproof. No doubt in that you have the table secured. No screeching when you try to pull the table and haven’t loosened the knob.
