So - I swapped out the new coolant temp sensor with the old one last night and went for drive in pretty warm weather - and the coolant temp gauge again climbed to the same position as the new one did - approximately 75 to 80% toward the top and well past the blinking light indicator...and no radiator fan kicking in. I am beginning to suspect the radiator thermo switch is faulty. So I can't confirm whether the new coolant temp sensor (from GW) is not calibrated correctly. Bruce |
