Thanks Richard - love the prototype van in the snow.

I had a 77 Westy which I drove the wheels off and pushed its old rusted chassis to the limit. It would go most places given its clearance, stubby front end, and BFG A/Ts. The only thing that slowed things down was starting from a steep incline if you had to stop half way up a hill and get going again.

I recall chasing a buddy in his F250 4x4 over a farmer’s field and he still marvels at how the Westy Transporter performed.
