Subject: Wbx crank shaft seal
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

I have a question. Replacing the crankshaft seal, the pulley end seal, on the wbx that was in my Syncro.

That means it’s the two part seal exclusive to Syncro. One seal on pulley, the other in the case.

I decided , as this is just a quick fix on the wbx, to forgo the 150 buck each syncro seal . I’m installing the standard wbx crank seal.

When I pulled the seal from the case, there was a hard and broken o ring behind it. This isn’t shown in Bentley .

What’s going on? Is this just a Bentley omission? The o Ring should be replaced?

Thanks

Alistair
