Hi Neil,

I actually have a usb with volt meter near the 12 volt socket. I have used the usb and a second adaptor in the socket running three chargers while driving. So far ok. My units are now running off the house battery, so not on the original circuit.

So fingers crossed I can take advantage of a bit more powerful charger.

When camping I have found myself using USB for Charging hearing aids, two iPhones, boes head set and a USB fan. Yikes!
