I’ll share a little data but I was holding back as my set up is so different.

I have the GW 2.3 built by Dennis. It has a oil cooler mounted in the front of the radiator. I’ve been keeping track of the gage readings.

With this set up oil stays cool about 180 degrees and on hot days in traffic about 220. This higher number in stopped mountain traffic jam about 80 degrees outside. Coolant temp seems to be about 200 degrees and when in hot conditions up to 220. Oil pressure at idle when hot is about 20 PSI and when driving I’m told about 45 PSI Driver seems a bit uncertain about the gage increments. So, engine running pretty consistently at these temperatures once warmed up and moving. Only rising at idle in hot conditions. Currently running Mobile 1 10W 50 Oil filter is Canton Racing filter. I’m now curious about other temperatures and will get out my talking IR thermometer and have some fun.

The transmission temp is my highest reading. It tends to read at about 220 to 240 degrees. Once in motion. Transmission has an air cooler on it.
