While it is a bit of a long shot, I'd examine VERY closely the wiring ends at the alternator main power stud. Failures there can cause the van that was just running to not start again after a stop. With the battery negative unhooked, remove and closely inspect those red wires to make sure the ring terminals and crimps on the ends are still good as well as clean. At this time of year problems in that spot become more frequent due to the added electrical loads of the A/C system and radiator fan.
