For shipping motors, IMHO, the best option is to contact your local boneyard. They ship motors ALL.THE.TIME. I’d ask how much to strap it on a pallet and have them send with their freight company. Might cost you $50. Might cost you a pizza.
That’s what I’ve done in the past.
