Hi folks, Today my friend Art showed up so we decided to do some vanagon projects. He had found some 1/8 inch steel the correct size for a shim for the T3 Anti sway bar. We loosened the bolts and after creating the shims slid them in. Tightened up and were done. Finally a job that had no hitches! We went for a ride tonight and took some bumpy roads. The suspension is much quieter now. The combination of the Radiator bushings and now the Anti Sway bar now has the van sounding like a solid ride again. And of course the handling with all the upgrades is still impressing all drivers. So, successful fix and it was solved by doing both what I believe Andrew recommended, and Chris from T3. Now back to the engine hatch hood lining project! Eric Caron |
