Got my van back together and running. Boy I hate initial start up of engine that’s been out of van and fooled with. Yup, more than a couple of lifters had bled down. Makes you think you’ve done something radically wrong.


I’ll get some pics of the things I’ve done posted to the blog in a bit. But one thing unexpected was finding a separating spring perch and broken lower bump stop on drivers side. Maybe the spring shifting was causing that mystery clunk I’ve been hearing once in a while?
I’ll find out as I’ve made new spring perches.
