Hi Patti,

Check out this link - lots of good info to start with. https://t3technique.com/media/pdf/Vanagon_Syncro_Wheel_Facts.pdf. One of the key considerations is overall tire diameter and the appropriate type of tire rated for the weight of our vanagons.

There are other considerations as well which many will chime in to help you determine the best wheel and tire for your budget and needs.
