 Very cool Dan.  I have forwarded this to several of my cousins; one has a ProMaster Van in an effort to coax a Baja trip with them 2022.  Sure, it's not a Vanagon, but able to tackle Baja no problem.  It's really pretty easy, so long as the mechanicals on van are ready.  Loved the "Canned Heat" video too embedded in that link!  Really shows the vibe.  Great adventure for cheap.
