Yes , I used the holes in the arm to line up with the holes on on my plate. But no need to bolts, just hand on the perch and a quick tack, four actually .

I’m still wondering why the stock, and some of the repros, have that cupped end on the bump stop. Does that do anything different than a rounded version when it off the rubber stop above hits it?

The small holes in this plate are placed so that 6mm bolts can be used to locate it on the trailing arm using existing holes until it is tack welded. As removing the arm can be a real challenge due to the bolts being seized into the bushing sleeve I do this repair in place. > > Dennis > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List <vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com> On Behalf Of OlRivrRat > Sent: Sunday, August 15, 2021 1:48 AM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: Rusty spring perch replaced > > Burley also has these,, But I like Yours better ~ > > https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fburleymotorsports.net%2Fproduct%2Frear-spring-perch-replacement-for-trailing-arm-need-weight%2F&data=04%7C01%7C%7C0be29d7e20584ee3b5a108d95fb042bf%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637646032900051510%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=dlE2NPrwmwHaPjvEQ8v5IrfcZEP%2Bhkb1ySAG0qX9h%2Bs%3D&reserved=0 > > > >> On 14 Aug , 2021, at 8:24 PM, Alistair Bell <albell@SHAW.CA> wrote: >> >> Fully agree.
