Ahh yes - I can feel the disappointment...the sight of steam or the smell of warm coolant is definitely not one of my favourite things! I don't know about you but whenever I complete or have major work completed it seems other bugs come out to bite me... a hose, a belt, an electrical mystery, etc. And it takes a little time for the van to be road worthy again. Quick thinking when building your adaptor and using 2 different hoses so you could get moving again - (I think I have a spare of that hose packed under the back seat). Just think if your motor was electric we wouldn't be having this discussion. I hope this is the end of the road with your van misbehaving and the beginning of you enjoying your trip.
