Hey Zoltan. Ok, I understand. And real men "never read the manual". LOL. (I'm joking) I'm sure your son will find good advice here. Of course the Vanagon archives are a good resource too. Hopefully the no spark is not an intermittent electrical issue. Those can be difficult to replicate thus diagnose. Neil.
