well... a story...

On my first vanagon, one time I brought it to a tire shop for a new set of new tires, they jack the rear up using one floor jack on the engine ! ! !...

I almost fainted and yelled at them... the guy said it's safe, he's doing it all the time and pointed at an American car with rear up on one floor jack at the rear axle...... I went inside and talked to the manager and then they raised the van with 4 floor jacks - 2 on the rear and 2 on the front...

phew.... :-)
