I can't say I dislike the metric system but for me, at 58 YO, I still think in MPG, (somewhat in MPH but for obvious reasons in KPH), Fahrenheit, lbs, inches but, what little work I did and do with metal, with callipers, I use mm but a combo square, ruler, inches.
