I guess I should also chime in that I also do like the closet for boots, beach shoes,rain gear, extra blankets, life jackets, wine storage....have found that some storage of the rain gear and boots is good in a separate 50 litre (+-) plastic tote that can be stowed under the van once camp has been set up.
