Did both rear axles this last summer. Replaced on joint with a good used spare from my spare axle assembly.

I just use the napa moly grease, seems to work fine for me. I am tempted by the exotic grease but haven’t bitten.

That spare axle… I was carrying it in an old work pant leg, under the rear seat. I made up some blanking plates to cover the joint ends. They bolt on to the cv joint bolt hole circle . That way I can carry the axle assembly all greased with out too much mess.
