Richard... do not raise the fuses too much on higher amp.. the fuse will hold but the wire(s) will melt and will have a disaster. I'd think the radio is too old and at one point on of the volume switch it gives a short and blows the fuse. Best solution is getting a more modern one... like Alpine or the such.
