Yes I had a diesel heater control knob on my German-origin 83 westy. I
removed that and installed a dual USB. I have the lighter socket right
beside it. I have another pair of USB sockets in the rear ashtray and
another lighter socket in the seat fascia below it. I use them all, a lot.
