Well Alistair, sorry for your bad weather, glad you didn't have a problem
thanks to the Synchro. As others have said, Vanagon to the rescue. As was
mentioned, the camper makes a suitable extra bed when guests come, and mine
has been used that way a fair bit. I have also slept in a Vanagon camper
as a guests at others' places. Good thing to have around.
Hope everyone with trouble due to your weather comes out ok, Alistair.
Being from Texas, I am very familiar with flooding conditions, some of them
sudden and extreme. Good advice about "Turn around, don't drown." Some
Texas stream crossings, and not all of them downstream of dams, have alarms
and barricades.
