I've got a similar setup, front and rear class III hitches, but on a Dodge RAM 4x4 diesel. I use Anderson SB120, 120 amp rated forklift battery connector. I also have a hitch ball mount on a flatbed trailer with an extension cable that connects to the plug on the back of the Dodge. It can be a little heavy to carry, but when you need it, you need it.
I ran mine from the batteries, through a 80 amp circuit breaker to a 100 amp contactor then out to both ends. I have a fused switch under the dash that closes the contactor to enable power to the plugs. I've also made a set of jumper cables that plug into the Anderson connectors. Also if you do this, take an empty Anderson shell and fill it will some sort of sealant. I used connector potting compound, but silicon sealer would work just as well. Keep it plugged into the connectors on the front and rear until you need them. Keeps water, mud, etc.. out of them.

I’ll quote a local Jeep maven: "I’ve never wanted a winch to pull me further into trouble.” He has a 12,000 planetary drive winch with a trailer coupler on it. Has high amperage plugs and trailer balls front and rear. Moves it from one end to the other as needed. Neat setup.

I just added the Westy World bumper, which is about as sturdy as they come. Now I am gathering information about a winch to bolt to my new bumper. Does anyone on the list have experience with a winch on their van and have any recommendations?
