  Exactly.  Vanagon always comes to the rescue.  For instance, in 2 weeks multiple family members are coming for a pre-Christmas time.  I will sleep in garage in my Vanagon.  The others will do with proper beds.  I will come indoors for hot shower and clothes.  No problemo.  Yes, your Vanagon is an ideal guest room. Wi-Fi and everything!
