Subject: Brake fluid capacity of Clutch/Brake circuits
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed

Hi,

Where I live (small town Western Canada), supply chain is a problem and no-one has DOT 4 brake fluid. I replaced my master cylinder and I had to re-use my brake fluid to be able to get mobile.

I can't seem to find in the Bentley what the capacity of the clutch circuit is. Once I can get brake fluid, what is the capacity of the clutch circuit? It seems to be at least 8 oz from my experience today, but not 100% sure.

While I'm at it, I do need to bleed my brakes completely as well, but no idea how much fluid that would take.

If I buy a 4 liter jug, I cannot imagine the reservoir's and lines taking more than that. Does that sound like overkill? or not enough?

Thanks, Steve Williams
