I usually don't advertise things on the list.  But I thought I would
mention the fact that we have brand new German made Standard by Standard KS
main bearings in stock for $199 a set.  These have been sold out for about
two years now, so when you could find them recently, it was NOS and the
price was around $250.  If you are interested here is a link to it on our
site.  I have sold a bunch to engine rebuilders, but I thought I would
mention it here in case someone is thinking about rebuilding their 2.1l
Vanagon and have been stymied with trying to find replacement bearings.
