Rat, I think both your figures are very wishful thinking. Given the combination of what is happening in the auto market, the passion for electric that is developing, VW nostalgia (can you say "bus?") and corporate greed, I'd say closer to $80K.
after having said all that, I want one with camper features (haven't seen that mentioned), 500 mile range, and ability to go off grid for days. Yeah, right.
