So I have a similar but different issue happening in My 90Westy ~ Due to a recent

car theft from My driveway I decided to create some extra security on My Westy,, Pondered

a bunch on how to make it convenient to Me but invisible to a thief & also not terribly diff’ or

expensive to accomplish ~ Decided to use what quite often becomes a problem for those of

Us who own, love & drive these VanaBeasts > The 50Circuit ~ This can be done easily just

by inserting a Switch in that wire wherever 1 chooses as convenient but hidden ~ My Westy

is equipped with a JBrown HotStart Relay which is located in the Eng Bay so I decided that I

would put a Wireless Remote Switch on the Ground Wire of that Relay so that with that Switch

Open the Relay would not activate with Key To Start or even if someone attempted HotWiring ~

It works Great,, But, If I choose to Open that Ground via Remote Switch after Starting so as to

disengage that circuitry while I'm Driving, the Brake Warning Light comes on &,& once the Eng

(EJ25) is warmed up I get Pulsating RPM @ Idle,, Close the Relay Ground as it would be during

StarUp & Brake Warn Light goes off & Idle is Smooth ~ Dontchya just love a good puzzle ~

I will admit that I do have some other Odd Lighting things happening on this Van that are

probably being caused by a combo of LED Lights & Grounds ~
