Good to know.

I was guessing that you had a plan. And I would think that the corner would be a good place.

But, I’ve never been able to get my hands on a hatch with an original factory release, or any release for that matter. So< I’d love more info about the original set up. Placement and look.

I also suspect it would be great to have a handle on that hatch so that if released from inside you could raise slowly. And maybe also close from inside.

I could see this being a quieter way to come and go during camping for that quick evening relief. Especially if raining, gives you a dry spot to drain from.
