I used it in the cabin area of van: pedestals, floor, inside doors, and also inside Slider. Quite happy. I also used it on the front area under dashboard; unfortunately, this sheet metal area must get pretty warm from front radiator blow by, and as a result, evidence of "tar" dripping down on the sides into footwells. I clean it up, and it later re-appears. But, even then, I have had no "tar" odors. It's been in place over 12 years. And yes, very significant road noise reduction, so worth it to me.
