The stuff I applied to the inside of my driver’s door sagged and interfered with the window winding mechanism but has been fine since the re-do years ago.
Not a liquid that gets applied, B-Quiet, Peel & Seal and the others are a 3-layer product; foil outer layer, tar-like substance that does all the work, and a wax paper backing that peels off before application.
This task is not rocket science, but it will test your patience and bendability.

I also used it on the front area under dashboard; unfortunately, this sheet metal area must get pretty warm from front radiator blow by, and as a result, evidence of "tar" dripping down on the sides into footwells. I clean it up, and it later re-appears. But, even then, I have had no "tar" odors. It's been in place over 12 years. And yes, very significant road noise reduction, so worth it to me.
