Peel n seal is what I used, along with fiberglass batting for insulation. Over the Diesel engine compartment and down the under seat firewall I added a carefully fitted liner of industrial standing mat that I acquired at a local industrial surplus store. This combination was cheap, effective and easy to experiment with.
