Hi Pete.  I like the pockets on the rear pf the bench seat.  I couldn't tell from the pictures, but I think you have a Westie.  Have you had any trouble with items in the seat pockets interfering with items stored under the bench seat?  With the amount of stuff I carry there, I wonder if the bed would go down properly.  I also say you found them on eBay.  How available are they? This thread is extremely timely for me. I got new storage pouches that install in the rear hatch and sliding door and I'm taking the opportunity to reduce noise and add thinner insulation for more storage space that doesnt make us freeze while camping.

I had purchased denim insulation, but this thread is making me rethink that decision.

Here are the storage pouches ... https://www.etsy.com/listing/1153635528/vw-vanagon-westfalia-sliding-door-and

I purchased this sound dampening material ... does anyone have any experience with this product? KILMAT 50 mil 50 sqft Car Sound... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0751G6TMV

Thanks for all of the good ideas!

Pete
