Hi Vanagon List friends,

We are about to head to the airport and meet up with the amazing folks that have been caretaking, traveling, and loving their van for 30 years and more. We can’t wait to get there, meet them and start our journery to Vermont.

One of the Previous caretaker is a silent member of this list!

We will be stopping at the Every Bus event in NC on the weekend.

If anyone sees a brown van with Temp Vermont plate on it it will be us!

And, stay tuned just in case we need a bit of list wisdom or we have a update.

Best,

Eric Caron

It's a long drive, It's the only safe way to go. I really want to help you guys out and keep you safe. Dennis, I can get to Long Island and take the trip down to Florida with you and then we will have 2 drivers per vehicle, and we can be sure everyone arrives at their homes safely. > > Just trying to help you guys out. > > Dave B. > the Boston one > looking for adventure > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Dennis Haynes <d23haynes57@HOTMAIL.COM <mailto:d23haynes57@HOTMAIL.COM>> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Sat, Apr 9, 2022 11:19 pm > Subject: Re: [VANAGON] What have I done! > > Maybe I can make that weekend-following week work out. I don’t need too much arm twisting to go to Florida. We can drive down in Red Van, get the van hang for a few days, tool around in my electric vehicle (golf cart) and have some cool meals at some water front joints and then caravan back north. Maybe I get there before you and Tom and by your ride from the airport. > > Dennis > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List <vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com <mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com>> On Behalf Of Jeff Palmer > Sent: Saturday, April 9, 2022 10:45 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Subject: Re: What have I done! > > Yes, but who else has a foot of snow in their front yard?? I'll help drive back from Florida. We just have to get there. Maybe Dennis would be interested. He is used to driving to Florida, and a Westy back would be heaven for a nap. Not only that, but he can tell you lots about your new ride after the drive home. We'll pick him up on the way down. > >> > >> By the way. You Lucky Son of a Gun!!
