Luckily on the east coast I haven’t had any issues. Thieves around here mainly troll the rich areas for an unlocked Mercedes’ with the key fob in it in someone’s driveway. They get in and simply drive away. From what I hear there is a no chase policy in new jersey so once they are in the car, they gone. As far as stolen documents everyone needs to have a credit monitoring plan during this day and age. I know tons of people that had their identity stolen. Sucks spending 20$ a month but it’s better than dealing with identity theft.
