A notorious murderer had escaped a Tennessee prison. He was known to have
had a fondness for VW campers. His
description and mine matched. !!!!! ???
How can that even be a thing???

An aside
Where I Live there are very few armed robberies or actual vehicle thefts
as there are only a choice of two ferry terminals for escape and both ferry
terminals are on the same single 50 to 60 odd miles of paved road running
the whole length of the land mass -- there is often a tale told of a
robbery some years ago where the police simply went to farthest away ferry
terminal and picked up perps in the waiting to board line up ---
Having said that petty crime is rampant and nearly anything that can be
wheel barrowed away or put in a pick up and covered or trailered hidden in
a covered trailer such as boats - quads and gensets - those are hot items
- as well as construction tools
