hi Eric, I'd think your struts are too strong, installed by a much younger/stronger man :-)

If you can't adjust them then you need different struts. I use this link to order specific struts (length and force). They custom make for you if they don't have them on the shelf. Once I ordered too strong struts they told me to send it back and they adjusted the force for free. I paid the send out shipping. The send back shipping is free too.
