Subject: 1.8 litre help
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi everyone - I know a few of you out there have 1.8 litre conversions and I’m hoping you can help. I bought a 1990 VW Cabriolet with 1.8 as a bit of a favour for a friend thinking that in the long term it might be a nice conversion as well. Or a great convertible :)

When it warms up it hesitates. Almost like the fuel line is clogged. We have replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel pressure seems ok, compression also ok. I believe 1.8s are digifant.

Anybody out there familiar with this issue?

Thanks in advance Jeff in Winnipeg
