Subject: Mystery wiring
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi folks,

I will have a lot of wiring to figure out on the 84. First owners put in all kinds of lights all over the place. If working I’ll try to maintain. But if not I’ll try to simplify.

Also a nest of old wires in the engine compartment left over from first owner having a trailer hitch.

I’d like to simplify that or just leave what I need to tap into for a third brake light and possibly an extra back up light as I already have these items in my project box.

But, here is the mystery wire,

There is a wire coming up from the left of the dash and across the top by the window and then was once attached to the screw in the middle just under the window seal. So I assume a ground. Currently it was disconnected from the connector.

I’m not aware of any electrical thing not working other then the dash analog clock.

So What could this mystery wire possibly be fore?

Man I wish some of you folks lived closer to VT!

And, time for me to figure out a way to post pictures.
