Hi John,
I love these stories and histories. There is a podcast out there of a couple currently traveling the US in a 79 Bay recording stories. I hope they find their way to you.
I’m looking forward to many more stories about you r new van and steps to improve it. Keep posting even the small things as people like me are always learning!
In the meantime, I would travel with you any where in a vanagon, but in a plane, not so much!
