Least expensive solution might be to clamp the tank to pump hose on the 84 that You are planning to replace, disconnect the Filter to Eng’ hose from the filter (assuming 84 has after pump filter), connect a long enough hose to reach from 84 Filter to 85 Tank, remove clamp from pre pump hose & supply 12vdc to 84 Pump > Igni’ Key to Run is how I would try 1st,, as Dennis H has stated that they are not supposed to just run for a few sec’s & stop but should continue to run ~

Example on the 84 changing the line from tank to pump. Can I pump out the gas from the 84 into the 85 tank? And then when time to replace fuel pump on the 85 I could clamp hose or I could just pump gas back to the 84. > > What would be a clean pump for work like that? > > Eric Caron > 84 and 85 westfalias |
